I'm taking the day off on the 15th to play (which is coincidentally also my birthday! yay!) so I'm obviously excited. I love the new changes they made but the hardcore old school diablo fans/haters should give this game a serious look.

It looks really awesome. I signed up for beta. fingers crossed I get my key soon. they send out a key every 5 minutes.

I thought the point of the Diablo 3 beta was to test server loading, you know, what most Internet betas are for...

Diablo 3 is really good...and thats coming from someone who isn't keen on playing that genre type. I was hooked within the first hour of the beta, it went from a game i considered to be a overhyped Pc fanboys game to a "OMG this is actually a very fun and addictive game".

For every person that drops there pre orders theres probably gonna be 100 more that will pick it up.

This game will sell millions. It's inevitable. People were butt hurt over Starcraft II and "canceled preorders", then it became the fastest selling RTS of all time; even outselling most console games this generation.

This is why they have beta's Magus lol.

Sure they may sell 5 million copies, but that won't be the peak number of players at a given time, with server load balancing across the world, I'm sure they can handle it.
