Indeed it is. Should be interesting. I'll be celebrating if it's even 1/2 as powerful as a modern x86 CPU. It probably won't even be 1/10 as powerful.

I'm pretty sure that the ARM is used within a GPU and not as a main CPU.
Most likely we will see it first time in Maxwell, so >1.5 years to go.

Nvidia is saying CPU. CPU is not a GPU. A CPU's core logic allows it to perform functions though user inputs. A GPU still requires input from the CPU to work. A GPU cannot function by itself without a CPU driving it.

If Nvidia says they're making a desktop CPU, they're making a desktop CPU.

PC widens the application a mile or two, netbooks and laptops are PCs... I'm guessing this is just another Tegra-type thing.
