![]() Shouldnt it be PCI-E 3.0? Im on the Asus P8Z68V/GEN3 which has proper PCI-E 3.0 support and the card itself supports it too. Is GPU-Z displaying it wrongly or is it an issue with my mobo? Should I try updating my mobo BIOS?

Does that mean the advantages of PCI-E 3.0 are not being taken advantage of right now? Although I doubt it'll really make THAT much of a difference in performance gain.

Assuming your sig is correct and you have a sandybridge processor you will not be able to get PCI-e 3.0 BW as the pci-e 3.0 lanes originate from the CPU . if you dont have an IB CPU you really do not have PCI-e 3.0 lanes, even if your board is gen 3 certified. You would need to pair it to a IB processor to get PCI-e 3.0 bandwidth
This is also listed on the ur board's web page: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...55/P8Z68VGEN3/ read below "PCI Express® 3.0" Quote:
The z77 PCH diagram (link below) elucidates this point. Look at where the PCI-e 3.0 lanes originate from: http://techreport.com/articles.x/22755 Older (<PCH 7), that have certification for gen3 only have lanes that are 'sturdy' enough (electrically) to carry over the PCI-e 3.0 bandwidth.

This and the only working pcie3.0 driver atm is still 300.83 (or maybe 300.89), 300.83 win7 x64 and apparently win8 RC compatible http://www.msi.com/service/download/driver-18204.html
