Default Black Mesa Source - Coming very soon (maybe legit)

Holy crap... The successor to Duke Nukem's vaporware throne is about to relinquish the crown... I hope.

7 years in the making fellas.

'Soon' to them will likely be another couple of years tbh.

I'd have loved it if Valve nabbed 'em up and foot the bill for this Mod, they could have included it it with HL3. That there would have been a massive selling point. I mean, HL3 will sell tons on its own but with this mod bundled in all polished? Now imagine if they redid Opposing Force and Blue Shift as well. Yeah, I'd drop $60 for that in a heart beat!

Except Valve doesn't own Opposing Force or Blue Shift. ::

The Restoration mod for KotOR was in development for quite some time too, RC was very near and then they quit without releasing anything...

Some time after that, another group released a similar mod, so it was all good in the end.

Still though, the Restoration mod looked much more complete. I don't understand, why nobody released the latest build. There was only a 2 year old beta floating around.

I still think this mod is never coming out. The quote they used is the typical vague garbage the developers always post. All they say is that when they release the soundtrack it will be with a new website, they don't mention when this will happen.

Edit: he goes on, later in the thread, to clarify that his meaning with that remark isn't what you think.
