Hello!
I am currently using Linux Mint 13. My nvidia driver version is 259.49. I tried several things to control my fan speed. 1.) I added the Option "Coolbits" "5" in the Device section at the /etc/X11/xorg.conf section 2.) i ran: # dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg 3) nvclock is not working. Error: Speicherzugriffsfehler (Speicherabzug geschrieben) Meaning: Memory error in English I guess. Step 1+2 activated the "Thermal settings" @ "NVIDIA X Server Settings". Adjusting the fan speed there has no effect. Any more ideas? |
