Default OCZ Vertex 4 or Corsair Force GT?

Im getting my first SSD soon and looking at the OCZ Vertex 4 and Corsair Force GT. My dad bought a 60GB Force GT some months back and is pretty happy with it. BUt i am also aware of the new Vertex 4s that were recently released. I have read that both are quite similar in performance and one might not notice any obvious differences in speed. The Vertex 4 costs a little more though. Am looking at either 90GB or 120GB capacity.

Any of you helpful chaps kind enough to ease my decision making here?

What about gaming performance then? I intend to install my more frequently played games on the SSD.

Ah i see. When i talk about performance for gaming i was actually referring to load times. My friend who bought an OCZ Agility 3 SSD not too long ago reported that BF3 loaded significantly faster while connecting to a multiplayer server.

Anyway looks like Intel 520 it is. Nice reviews im seeing online. Thanks for the tip!

No OCZ. I had 2 drives die within a month in two different machines. ::

You're right, you can't really notice performance differences with modern SSDs in normal scenarios - so get the most reliable product -> Intel all the way.
+1 I have never gone for any other SSD than an Intel and never had any problems with them. I just picked up a 480gb 520 and loving it. If you go with Intel you know you won't have any issues.

Yep stay away from OCZ, they are complete rubbish. I know so many people who have had them and all apart from one friend have had issues with them and they all would never buy another OCZ SSD product again!
OCZ = Bluescreens and random freeze lock ups and even the latest firmware doesn't seem to fix the issues

In any case, those SSDs are all more than fast enough but not all of them are reliable!
In most games loading times are near instant compared to normal hdd. I would say there is a huge difference in loading times.

Yeah, I've tested a few. GTAIV doesn't make too much difference, things like vsync have more of an affect on it. FEAR doesn't make too much difference it's always quick. Dragon Age no difference. Skyrim, huge difference. Same for Duke Nukem and Deus Ex.

I've noticed that solitaire has benefited immensely from my SSD though.
