Who IS using a Water cooler closed loop set-up.

I see thermatake is comeing out with one ,I think the main parts are made by one company.The Coolermaster 212EVO is doing a great job up to 4.750gigs,but I want to run 5gigs and my 212EVO just can't handle that .I can run it at 1.3v at 4750gig and at 1.35v my i7-3820 will run at 5 gigs but it runs in the 80c's and that is to hot for me.I have looked at all the different coolers and the reviews and the Corsair H-100 shows to be the best,I am sure it will cool it better at load tempertures then my $35 heatfansink does.

if you have good airflow inside your case, you can get similar cooling (if not better) with the best air coolers, like the noctua DH14 or thermalright silver arrow.

Liquid cooling is not better than the latest heatpipe coolers, it just move the heat to an easier exhaust point.

If noise isn't a concern you can always get a bigger fan for your heatsink. If you mount a high CFM fan you can definitely drop the temps comparable to lower end water coolers. From what I've seen people with sealed loop WC setups tend to have one of the Corsair models. I've never used a sealed setup before, but they look decent.

I have a H100. I grabbed one for my 650D Corsair case and it works well. Not too different from my Thermalright 120, but it started to corrode and had to be replaced (live by the sea).

But, liquid cooling can be a very silent solution, and if I wanted even better, I could just swap my 1100rpm silent fans with some loud noisey high-rpm mofo's and definitely outperform any air-cooled solution.

Plus big air coolers can put a fair strain on motherboards. Close loop coolers attached the the case, leaving a fairly light block on the motherboard.

I love my H100 It's so quiet even at max. I am only using a push configuration w/ 2 fans. It's mounted on top of my case and the case has 2 large 200mm fans on top so I didn't bother doing push pull since the top 200mm fans will do the pulling even though it won't be up against the radiator. I also swapped out the fans for some cougar ones which are quieter than the included corsair 120mm ones.

I had a heatpipe air cooler and I also Had the Thermalright Ultra 120 exetreme and they did a decent job.But when I went to the Corsair H-100 my idles tempertures went down by 2c but my Load tempertures went down by almost 12C, plus it is a lot quieter, occourse I changed to quieter fans.I am running at 4750gigs and running prime95 I would hit 76c with my HSF and with the H-100 the highest it gets is around 64c.
