iPhone 4s or Samsung Galaxy S3 or Samsung Galaxy Note? Which should I go for.........

Ended up ordering the S3 due to the Ion using an older 1.5 snapdragon CPU. Should get it either Monday or Tuesday.

I'll go for the Samsung Galaxy S3. It has the best specs among the three, quad-core processor, 720p screen and lots of memory at 1 GB or 2 GB (rumor) and storage capacity. Still waiting on mine here. Haven't even gotten a tracking number or "shipped" status yet.

Why the extra battery? Is the quad-core version really a battery hog?

No idea about battery life but, I do use my phone as mp3 player with bluetooth headset and play games or surf the net on occasions (break wise). My iPhone would not last more than 6 hours . So as the S3 has replaceable batteries...I am just taking extra precautions

On another note,I have had to return my S3. It has a manufacturing defect. A tiny one little defect on the metal frame but, I don't like it and going to get it replaced..so maybe another few days before I can fully play around provide some form of mini-review. Like call reception, call quality, battery life, gaming, browsing, and other OS ease of use issues.

OK ..apparently Samsung is giving my tel carrier the runaround so I dunno when I get my new replacement S3.

So I got impatient, and I tried it for 15 mins!
Negatives;
Big BUG! in 15 mins of browsing a few pages in the internet and few texts and calls. 7% of the battery was gone! Doing a google search led me a page where, they stated that there is a bug on how standby battery is calculated or whatever....apparently their profile units etc are wrong!

Here are the postives vs iphone 4;
DAMN GORGEOUS 4.8" AMOLED SCREEN! Even though it pentil AMOLED its very sharp and crisp
Browsing inerwebz was fast! As good iphone 4 was test crispness!
BEAUTIFUL CALL Quality! Way better than my iphone4. Incoming voice was louder and crisper and my outgoing call was said to be crisp and better!

As a iPhone 4 owner, I was originally taken back by the sexy sleek design but, have been disappointed by itunes restrictions etc...cannot drag and drop my music in and out. I have liked the apps u can get on app store..some great games but, depressed about the battery life if I do play games and/ or listen to music at work or use wifi!

So, I am actually open to going back to Samsung....but in all honesty, I can't decide. I don't know if I can get any decent Android games like I can on iPhone.

So if you guys have any ideas I would like to hear from you

Wait until fall. All of these phones should be seeing an update, and if Android is your preference you will have a better chance of knowing whether the latest and greatest OS will be on those phones.
And if iPhone is your preference, the fall is the update to iPhone 5. Even if your past experience wasn't the greatest, it wouldn't be unwise to wait and see what they have coming out.

Right now is a horrible time to upgrade.
