Post Alfred Hitch****'s Dial M for Murder Coming on Blu-ray 3D

Probably not a lot of you were able to watch Alfred Hitch****'s Dial M for Murder classic movie when it was originally released in 1954, though you may have seen it later on on TV. Furthermore not a lot of people actually know that the movie has been shot in 3D as in the 1950s 3D was a trendy thing, though the movie was originally released in 2D on the big screen and over the years there were almost no projections of its 3D version being made. Now however we are going to see a restored version of the 3D original (4K scans of the original negatives) of the movie brought back on Blu-ray 3D, of course with further adjustments and fixes to make sure the alignment of the left/right images and the convergence is set at comfortable levels for the audience. Dial M for Murder in 3D on Blu-ray 3D is supposed to be released on October 9th this year and depending on it's success we may see more of the 3D movies shot in the 50s restored and brought back to live on Blu-ray 3D media. Again we are talking about movies that were shot in 3D back in the day, so this is not some crappy 2D to 3D conversion done in a hurry just to make some quick money out of the 3D hype. Movies such as Dial M for Murder were actually shot in 3D format, though back then the process wasn't perfect especially for the alignment of the two cameras, but these issues can easily be fixed nowadays after you digitize the original negatives.

- You can already pre-order Dial M for Murder on Blu-ray 3D from Amazonā?¦
