Default DVI output (MX-440) in SuSE 8.2?

Hi,

I just installed SuSE 8.2 in my computer. I want to change to use DVI output but I can't find any place to make this change. Should I download the latest linux driver from Nvidia website and install it or there is something I missed in the system configuration? My video card is MX-440. Thank you for your help.

Dunno about your card, but in my case I had to switch cables/adapters then cold boot. The card wouldn't switch from VGA to DVI live...

Thanks for your reply.
Like other people said, you just need to change the cable from D-sub to DVI then the output signal will go through DVI.
But in my case, I tried to update the driver then turned off computer, change to DVI connector then reboot system, still got no input showing on my LCD.
Don't know if there is anything I have to make change in the SuSE.

I dont think DVI output has got nothing to do with Linux, I have Suse 8.2 and using the DVI output through a VGA connector and it works fine.

It is better quality by the way even through a VGA adaptor on a normal monitor.
