Old Linux Drivers at NVidia Homepage

I noticed the Linux drivers at www.nvidia.com don't get updated anymore. I'm very concerned that nvidia will stop Linux Support alltogether after that little slip from Linux.

Are there any news about what is going on ?

I am afraid if this means that nvidia stops Linux support I won't be able to buy nvidia hardware anymore, even if I love that hardware an am a faithful customer since Geforce 2.

Check the driver download app. There you get only the old drivers.

Yes, deep somewhere in the system there are newer drivers. Just follow Arons link on top of the forum.

But the driver download app, which I consider as the official channel, doesn't show the 302 Version.

Well, if I panic too early I'm more than happy about it, I got 6 systems with nvidia gpu, one with nvidia chipset.

i guess they want to promote more the long live branch of the driver.

Besides 302.xx drivers have suspend broken for too many people.

Nvidia will NOT stop supporting Linux
This is a business OS and they have too many customers using their professional line-up on it to stop supporting it. Even if Linus continued to scream insult at them, it would not make good business sense to stop the support
