LOL! Welcome to my world (me laughs at the 8500 I sold on ebay). I also have another friend who JUST bought a Retail R8500 128ddr last week, and already he's trying to sell it for a GF4.

anyway, welcome to the fourms

Cool Albatron 4200 Turbo

I just ordered one of the new Albatron 4200P Turbo (8 layer PCB and 3.3ns memory) cards today, so I'll let you know how it runs. Can't beat a card with the copper HSF and mem heat sinks that overclocks to higher than the base 4600's. A little bit on the pricey side ($185) but I think its a great package for the money.

*cries like a baby* Why, God, why didn't I get one of these instead?! It worked right out of the box and I haven't had an issue with it yet. And yes, LordVampyre, it is video heaven. Makes my 8500 seem like my old Voodoo3.
I did have one issue with GTA3 and the text in the title menu, but that turned out to be a DirectX problem. A simple patch fixed it. Now GTA3 playes smooth. 40fps average 1024x768@32. Very happy customer. Forget ATI. They do have good products, but Nvidia is headache free.

Newegg uses Fed-Ex to ship items. Don't get the 2 day shipping. It only takes around 3 days to get to you anyways. They dont ship on the weekends. Just buisness days. Enjoy your g4's. I know I am.
