Default Force IE window size

For some reason, my Internet Explorer window sizes always have a way of changing themselves without my discretion. Is there some way to force and lock the size of my IE windows?

Thanks.

This wont lock your IE size but it is a way to change it back very easy.

First you create a shortcut from any URL, take the one from this page. Just drag the icon in the adress field out to your desktop (the little image before http://.....)

Right click it and select properties and change the url into this:

"javascript:window.resizeTo(640, 480)"

(no quotes)

change the width and height to what suits you and rename the short cut. Then you just move the file to your favorites folder and you are set

Each time you open IE and change the size then close it, it will remember your size setting.

EDIT: Remove the space between java and script (the board automaticly adds it) so it just says "javascript:"

I've realized that the IE window size depends on how you change it -sometimes-.
If IE starts in a size you don't like, resize it as you wish, maximize and restore to check it returns to "your" size, and close it.
Hopefully, next time you start Windows, IE windows will open at that size.
If you just maximize the windows, IE windows won't start maximized.
