Default request to nVidia: please fix FX 5xxx stability!

For the next driver iteration (50.xx???) please concentrate on fixing FX5xxx stability.

The number of X crashes is very high and they happen under a variety of situations (on startup, in-game, after long X use,...).

The reason I bought an FX5600 instead of a 9600 was nVidia's Linux driver support. But this argument seems to be not relevant anymore.

I hope we see a change with the next driver set...

I have a FX5600 also and X works fine for me. No crashes or anything. Im running fedora 0.94 and the 44.96 IA32 drivers. I was before this running redhat 9 and I had no problems there as well.

Default your config?

I am running RH8 w/ 2.4.22 from kernel.org, 44.96 and XFree 4.2.1 patiently waiting to upgrade to Fedora Core 1 in Nov 3rd.

What's your config in detail?
