Default HL2 moved back up?

I have HL2 pre-ordered at EBgames. A couple of days ago I got an email from them saying the game has been pushed back to April 2004. Today I get another email from them saying it's been pulled back up to November 27, 2003. I haven't seen any info like this on any websites yet.

Same here. I'm beginning to wonder if even Valve knows what's going on with this game. Sheesh!

I honestly don't think anyone can even make a guess at this point as to when HL2 will be released (Valve included). It could come out tomarrow for all we know (well, ok, so the beta is already out, but that's not what I was refering to...). It may be out this year still, but I wouldn't count on it.

Yeah what a mess this whole thing is. I had actually read the email from Ebgames when it was first pushed back before I read it on the forums. I sure hope they are accurate in this. That April date release sucks badly.
