Post Presente3D v1.0 Add-on for 3D Presentations in PowerPoint

Presente3D, the plugin for creating stereo 3D-enabled PowerPoint presentations is now out of beta and has reached version 1.0 (1.0.222 at this point to be exact). It has been already some time since I've reviewed Presente3D, but you may want to take a look if you are interested in the software. Of course the current version has some improvements and fixes, so you can expect to get even better experience using it and I'd recommend you to download it and try itâ?¦ it is surprisingly easy to use once you get familiar with it.

Presente3D is an add-on for Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013 that allows users to easily take any existing PowerPoint Presentation and add some volume into it making it a stereoscopic 3D presentation. You are essentially playing with the position of 2D elements in 3D space or making them three-dimensional by extruding them, though you can also add 3D elements as well by embedding stereo 3D photos. Currently Presente3D still uses OpenGL for the visualization, meaning that there is no support for Nvidia's 3D Vision, though if you have a professional level Quadro card you can use frame sequential output with Quad Buffer 3D stereo on a 3D-capable projector. The software also supports Above-Below and Side By Side output modes for 3D HDTVs as well as anaglyph 3D output. You can download the free trial version of Presente3D and try it out, and the full version of the software is available for $59 USD.
