Default Change RGB color output signal

Hi,

I connected a new VGA cable on my monitor and obviously the RGB signal pins are different from the orignal cable I had before. For example: a totally blue background results in a red display background color now :-(

And I don't want to modifiy the cable if I haven't to do so... :-)

Would it be possible to change the RGB signal output in the XFree or NVIDIA drivers? Is it possible to map e.g. the red output signal to the blue signal?

best regards,
Alex T.

Why not fix the broken cable?
It is supposed to be connected the right way.
