Well, I tried that as well, but for me they don't compile with kernel 2.6-test11.

Well, the driver will not compile because of your kernel, there is a fix for that at www.minion.de that will make the driver compile under 2.6 (rather anything above 2.4)

Nvidia does not like unstable code, unless it's their own... ;-)

This didn't work for ethier at first. Make shur that you are changing the vga= option at the top of the config file. Not the one in the boot option.
