Maybe someone can help me how to make those 5328 work on my Toshiba P20 (Fx 5200 Go, Intel chipset, Suse 8.2, linux 2.4.20-4GB).
After installing the new drivers all I get is a black screen after a very short grey flashing (I can't tell whether it's the logo or not it stays too short). I can switch back to the console, but it looks as if every second pixel in horizontal direction would stay black. There's no error message in /var/log/messages Everything worked fine for 4620 and before. I also tried 'Option "IgnoreDisplayDevices" "CRT, TV"', but this leads to a crash. With "IgnoreDisplayDevices" "TV" I still get the black screen. Would be very kind if someone could help me (But caution: I'd consider my self a newbie)! Thanks Some output for 4620 - maybe it helps: linux:~ # cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status Status: Enabled Driver: AGPGART AGP Rate: 8x Fast Writes: Disabled SBA: Enabled |
