and guess what? I just switched from win98 server to winXP....
then the 30 sec to shoutdown massage...
and this trojan thing is so lame... it makes all .exe files run the infected file instead so you cant start regedit or whatever...

back to the win98 server

I don't know where it came from but I dont think I d/l any apps..

LOL! Ok that's different. YEs you can use Win98 as a file server in a small network environment, but good luck in a large business/corporate environment. It doesn't have the stability or capability to handle too many clients attached, or run-from-server applications. What are you using your "server" for besides file sharing?

Bill Gates is getting more retarded as time goes by. Sure why bother fixing all the stupid exploits they have in their overpriced software, it's our fault all these problems happen right?

Actually in the case of valve I thought I read somewhere it was a fairly well known outlook express vulnerability that was exploited there to do the theft/damage. If there's been a patch available for weeks and you get hit, it's 90% your responsibility IMO.

It's partly your fault if you don't update your system. But the fact these expensive pieces of software go out with so many massive holes in them is rediculous.
