it's only really 'hide' it as you may have heard, but its still nice to be able to do that to all that stuff i never want to use

According to them, a lot of other programs rely on their built in stuff. I have no idea.

Like on XP with office XP where when you just try to delete the shortcut it says:

Special functionality? The only special functionality i've seen is the ability to start outlook with two clicks. I can start outlook just as quick going through the start menu.
