finaly got everything to compile, the drivers are in their proper spot AND i edited the XF86 file the way the README.txt says but still when it trys to go into grafix mode it craps out.
i looked through the FAQ and my situtation cant be found. anysuggestions? |

Would you post the errors you're receiving, your XF86Config-4, and your /var/log/XFree86.0.log ?

Check /etc/modules.conf
$cat /etc/modules.conf | grep NVdriver That should reveal. alias char-major-195 NVdriver If not then edit the /etc/modules.conf so that that line is in the alias section and run depmod. $su $password #depmod -a Now start your window manager in the usual fashion. |

first itried with rpm-files and later with the tar-files
