If nothing else it should get nVidia to start releasing drivers quicker..

If I'm reading this one right, I think FM is banking on nVidia putting out a new driver set soon that contains 'fixes' for the new 3dm2k3 patch...and I think it's a trap by FM for some payback at nVidia that nVidia is going to walk right into.

It ain't the same atmosphere as last time FM & nVidia bumped heads, I don't think nVidia will fair as well in a direct head-to-head with 'em.

We'll see. Personally. I think you want more anti Nvidia drama.

Actually. I am Still trying to get a 9600 Pro. For my second machine. But I'm still waiting to unload my 9500 Pro.

See. The 9600 Pro would be for my second system. Since I'm trying to get 2 machines up and ready to Play Everquest 2, And I figured owning both ATI & Nvidia will give me a chance to more objectively evaluate drivers/performance ect.

But Alas. I'm haven some financial problems atm. And my 9500 Pro doesnt work in my other system (Not enough power + it seems the r300 doesnt like Via Kt133 Chipsets. Tho I heard the rv350 is fine. So I cant wait.) So I need a 9600 card, Due to its low power consumption.

Yeah, but only with the 340 version of 3dm2k3 which the 52.16 set "mysteriously" lost almost 900 points off it's score with.

I would be interested to see 5700U & 9600XT scores with this patch too.

They don't detect anything in build 340. So why is there a problem?
