Wheeeeeeeeeee!!! It's a fun game!

Every once in a while, I can suddenly 'see' that it's like a zoomed-in Neverwinter Nights. Hell, the bad guys even leave 'remains' and there's a similar interface for doors and chests for the two games. Come to think of it, the items aren't dissimilar either (I just some some Gauntlets of Strength, lol).

But it is a very different game, and it's Star Wars!!! Lots of magnificent cut-scenes and a very cute droid. Now I'm off to recreate the movies by finding him a boyfriend....

Except slightly more evil

It's great when you finally discover where he came from.

Don't tell meeeeeeeee!!! Wow, I keep accidentally playing it for 8 hours straight (and playing anything straight is difficult enough for me ). At least a new episode of SG-1 allowed me to get out of my chair for a little bit today .

I'm actually looking forward to buying it when it comes out here in the UK. Guess it must be a great game .

Hehe, I won't

But I will say that I think the big, bad secret is kind of cheesy. It does, however, lend itself very well to allowing you to play your character any way you please.

In fact, I'd say it's nice to see a game that, to some extent, encourages you to take the evil path. The previous Bioware/Black Isle games never seemed to.

I just had a horrible thought. Is it similar to the relationship between C3PO and Anakin in Episode 1?

If it is *groan*

I would have been impressed if it was... it takes a special kind of talent to write cheesier than George Lucas (of late).

This is my favorite game of the year. I played about 10 hours on a friend's X-Box but was never able to finish it. The PC version is a perfect port, (other than some stability issues ) and it's an accessible RPG, even for people who hated NWN. (Like me).
