Upgraded to a GeForce GTX 780 Ti
I recently bit the bullet and ordered an EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SuperClocked from Newegg. I've been quite surprised at how much more powerful this graphics card is than my GeForce GTX 680.
My system consists of the following:
- Intel Core i7 940 Quad Core @2.93GHz
- Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Motherboard
- 6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 @1066MHz
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680
- Dell 3007WFP Monitor
- Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
The maximum idle temperature for the GeForce GTX 680 was 35C.
The maximum idle temperature for the GeForce GTX 780 Ti was 42C.
The maximum load temperature for the GeForce GTX 780 Ti was 83C while running
Here are a few benchmarks to get things rolling along.
I'll be adding more benches over the next few days.
