I knew this was gonna happen. The moment I download the 30.82 drivers to update the 29.42's I'm running now, NVIDIA goes and releases another 40.xx set. So you all can thank me for allowing NVIDIA to release this set, especially to you Win 9x whiners (and you know who I'm talking about
).As usual, this thread will be stickied and you can post your impressions here. BTW, anyone wanna put up some mirrors? W2S must be getting hammered right now. |

Can anyone confirm the aniso and other bugs from 40.41 fixed? It seems to me they were fixed (from my own experience), but I want to hear a second opinion! ![]()

I was able to sneak into W2S and grab a copy for myself. I won't be able to install them until much later this evening as I have to work late tonight.
![]() Anyone tried out anisotropic filtering on these drivers, especially in D3D? In any case, I'm looking forward to giving them a go and knowing that if they don't work out, I can always fall back to a previous set. ![]() |

I haven't found a bug with them on the 9x/ME set. I'm no where near done testing them or giving them the time/attention I WANT to, but they really look like the sh&t so far! ("the sh&t"="the best")

Wondering if someone can tell me if RivaTuner works with these drivers? I use the refresh fix and all the other things that Rivatuner enables and like it alot, if it doesnt work can someone let me know what I can use in its place with these drivers.
Thanks in advance.

erm, constant 80fps in the outdoor deathmatch level (antalus), no drops, and 100fps in the other one at 1024x768. they certainly fixed something here.

Refresh Force works for me... did the usual uninstall old 40.41s, install new ones, reboot, use Refresh Force, change screen mode, boom, life is peachy.
