The 46.20 driver is older than the new release 53.28.

280,000 fps is not possible, however 280 fps (with some thousands might be).

Run command in terminal:
nvidia-settings

if it doesn't work check your $PATH variable, it should contain: /usr/bin

http://public.pny.com/quadro/FX3000g/Linux/ seems to be down, are there any other places go get the 46.20 driver, or could someone host it perhaps?

Thanks

I spent a very long time tracking the driver down... I joined these forums to tell you all where you can now get them, and that is here. I managed to get it from a friend on linuxquestions, and now I have posted it at that site for all to enjoy, because that control panel is the coolest, and the performance for me at least in glxgears is better then any other drivers I have tried. (I have geForceFX5200pci128mb.) Enjoy!

Since the 46.20 it's the best all around driver for me and it is capable of giving me some kick ass FPS result I want to use it, but I've got this problem, in game, all the font is blur, I can barely read them.

Does anyone got a idea where I can look to repair this, the 53.36 don't give me that problem.

Thx

EDIT: sorry if I explain myself badly my english still need some practice, but here's a Link to help better understand.

I've had the same font problems when I was playing vega strike. The head develloper from vegastrike siad to look at the FSAA settings. And he was right.

Vegastike is a cool game to play.

If you have set the FSAA at 2X you will get very funny looking fonts. Try adjusting FSAA setings via the controll panel.

If I look at the "nvidia-settings" panel, the FSAA is not activated. Any place else I should look?
