I haven't played Rune, but Edge's post and this above almost made me laugh out loud in the office... I could just imagine the frustration ...

yes even bugs can add to experience if the game is great...

LOL, don't think so, but I'm not sure, I've always shot them in the head.

Wrong, we buy them. Some problems i mentioned before are serious enough that a patch cannot possibly fix. I like the storyline too but like i've said in the past, it's simply not enough. As for that bitching about it, i'll take it as a compliment since due to lots of people (including me) bitching to LGS and Eidos, we got DromEd released. Maybe bitching about it again might persuade ISA to change their mind, release the tools so that we can modify some stuff to our liking.

Do you not play them as well? Then I'm not wrong.

Look, no one made you buy the game did they? Was a gun pointed at your head? If you don't like the game, that's fine, take it back, sell it or whatever, but bitching about it here isn't going to change anything. If you are just going to complain and moan about how it wasn't a great game because it didn't have all the features you wanted, but not do anything constructive, then stuff it. We know you don't like it, can we do anything about it? No. We don't make the games. Take it to the IS or Eidos forums, where it will probably get read by someone who can do something.

Heh, somehow I think IS would survive that. They did, afterall survive the travesty that is John Romero and his dickslap of a game Daikatana.

Yeah, they saved themselves by coming out with "Deus Ex" and wowing the gaming community. If Thief3 gets the same treatment for PC as DE:IW did I think it ain't too premature to say that IS is going to be giving up on the PC market. (Hell, I think they already have. )

Face it: This game was tailored for the console gamer.

Everything from the dumbed down skill system/learning (or lack thereof), to the saving (again, or the lack thereof), to the inventory setup, to the fonts, the controls... EVERYTHING.

Last time I checked, this was the PC version. Yet, we are forced to experience it as if we were playing it on a console.

Pure BS.

This game is a huge disappointment.

Careful there! Because if i'm bitching about it, your repeated ass-kissing attitude makes me think you're a major shareholder of ISA. Likewise, the fact that you loved it, doesn't mean that whoever disagrees with you is an ignorant or something. Yes, you got that right, i don't like a lot of things about it. So do a couple of thousands of people as well (who also signed for the game to be delayed) who had the same expectations with me only to apparently, get a port of the Xbox version, badly rushed to the PC with Q&A testing made by Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles (apologies to them, no disrespect meant). If you think i'm the only one here, read the thread again. You can always go to the ISA forum and ask what's wrong with the PC version of the game. But seriously now, you've got a great excuse. That one...

...that's a hell of a lame excuse. Man, make a huge print of it, frame it, then send it to ISA. I reckon you will get a free copy of DEIW minimum
