BFG Contest Email Failure
I sent my entry into the BFG Giveaway Contest and received the following error email:
"Hi. This is the qmail-send program at nvnews.net. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. <contest@nvnews.net>: Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. vpopmail (#5.1.1)" Any suggestions? |

either the email address is nonexistent, or qmail is exploding... dunno, I can't check.
if you're really that impatient, I guess you could email the info to me at thebaron at nvnews dot net (yes, I'm even getting spam as I post my email address on boards), and I'll make sure that it gets in the pot. but if you're that impatient, you're insane  |

Or maybe there is no giveaway and it's all a big nVidia conspiracy... /me hides from the nV News Secret Police. |

Sorry, but I forgot to set up that e-mail account. It should work now.
Our server admin was troubleshooting my e-mail account a few weeks ago because my ISP wasn't accepting forwarded mail from a third party from port 25 in order to cut down on spam. Before the change, I always received e-mail that was sent to a non-existent address at nV News - like contest@nvnews.net. |
