here goes. I've just installed my new nvidia drivers for my Gforce4 MX440 card. I have s-vidio and composite outputs on my card. I'm trying to get my TV-out option to work. I've attached my XF86Config-4 file for you guys to see. what am I missing in order to get TV-out to work.
another little problem is when I exit X, my screen is all garbled with little lines all over the screen. I have to reboot in order to see a normal screen once again. Can any one help me here? Rgds. Claude OOOps, seems like my file attach didn't work, so I'll cut and past here. # File generated by XFdrake. # ************************************************** ******************** # Refer to the XF86Config man page for details about the format of # this file. # ************************************************** ******************** Section "Files" # Multiple FontPath entries are allowed (they are concatenated together) # By default, Mandrake 6.0 and later now use a font server independent of # the X server to render fonts. There hasn't been any posted solution to Tv-out problems with the GeF4 mx cards, when the cable is plugged in you will get corruption, blank screens, or freezes. There are several lengthy posts regarding the problem, if you search the forum for the card and those keywords you should turn up a few. You may have to wait until drivers are released that correct the bug.
