Default Armed and Dangerous

Just tried the Armed and Dangerous demo from fileplanet, and I think its bloody good. Made by the same ppl who did Giants: Citizen Kabuto. It feels and looks very similar.. I had all options max'd, and it ran like a dream on my GF4.

Graphics are good.. very good gameplay.. my only criticism is the mouse control is a little jerky, a bit of mouse smoothing wouldn't go amiss. If I see this in the shops, I'll prolly pick it up, to tide me over till D3.

Anyone know if it this game has MP?
I'll post up some shots later

I'm definately picking it up. I'm a huge fan of Planet Moon. Giants is still one of the best games ever. It's so damn saddening that no one bought it. The game had me in tears at some points it was so halarious. I hope AnD follows the same trend.

I havent had a chance to play it yet though, but if you say it plays like Giants, I'm sure its great

all shots 1024x768 no AA, no AF, all options max'd. Heavily compressed I'm afraid.

Giants looks a lot better with the GeForce 3 patch. It also runs faster, too.

Yeah I also have the GF3 and Eax enhanced version. Made the game much better, but sadly didnt fix the bugs. Did any of you try it multiplayer? It was a total bug fest!! But it added to the humor a lot. I have a screenshot somewhere of a Kabuto who started flying around. I think I can dig up the screenie.

Awesome screenshots Nutty. You can kind of tell its a heavily modified Giants engine.

I enjoyed this demo a lot, it's loads of fun.

And thankfully you have the ability to save your game during missions, which was the main thing I thought was missing from the otherwise great Giants.
Armed and Dangerous looks like it could be a very good game
