Default Legacy of Kain: Defiance

Any console gamers out there that were fans of the Legacy of Kain series will definitely want to pick this one up. I am not sure if it is coming out for PC or not (I imagine it will)...

I just got done playing it and I have to say that this was the best game of the series, by far (I'm not even going to go near saying what I thought of Blood Omen 2). In this one you get to play as both Kain and Raziel and it makes the game just that much more interesting.

Remember how the stories in the others in the series kind of left you with things very unexplained? Well, let's just say that this one wraps them all up. I won't give any spoilers, but the story is excellent, and coupled with excellent voice acting, it just makes this game very much worth the purchase.

I was kind of worried at first, what with how Blood Omen 2 turned out to be so craptacular, but my worries quickly disappeared. It turns out that the woman that produced/directed the series was somehow not involved with Blood Omen 2 (I'm not sure of the details), but she is back doing this one and it shows.

I'd defintely recommend this one. It was a very nice suprise for me...I hadn't even known they were making it until I happened across it in the store. I'm glad I picked it up.

Finally, that'll be a nice change. I was so annoyed at the end of Soul Reaver where it left with a "To Be Continued", and then at the end of Soul Reaver 2 it was like "OMG Plottwist! Buy the next game to get the FULL story!". So does it even leave any room for a sequel at all? I talked to one person that said they might be doing 1 more game in the series before ending it (though if the ending to this one is pretty concreate then they may just be ending the series with Defiance).

Anyway, cool to hear. I'm gonna have to pick it up when it gets cheap. I sure am buying a lot of games lately though...oh well, another game to play when I run out of other ones.

Well....I guess in a way there could be another one, but it would be a bit of a stretch to continue the story, and quite honestly with the ending in this one I'm perfectly happy with it ending here. There aren't really any loose ends that could be continued with in another one.

...and there are some very nice plot twists in this one.

Unhappy

Tested it, but didnīt like the controls . Why couldnīt they just have kept the old controls from the other titles??

The game feels a bit like Prins of Persia, unfortunatly...
