Default 5328 driver on toshiba laptop

4620 drivers are working ok, but I have a problem with 5328.

Something is wrong with the screen resolution (the result is 2cm wide black bar on the right side of the screen). The same thing happened on 4620 and I could fix that on 4620 using NVreg_SoftEDIDs=0 NVreg_Mobile=2 module parameters, but these parameters have no result when new 5328 driver is loaded.

I have XFree 4.3, Tohsiba Satellite 1410 (GeForce 4 MX), linux 2.6. (using http://www.minion.de/ howto).

just posted this to a similar thread befor i discovered this thread, maybe its useful to you:

i finally got it working:

using the XF86Config-4 provided on http://www.thorstenhaas.de/toshiba2410/ removed the ugly black bar on the right hand side.

if you start a game and you don't use the native display resolution (1024x768) the black bar is there again, but not if you use the display-resolution. works fine here (only tested with tuxracer )

btw: mandrake 9.2 (2.4.22) on a toshiba 2410-404
