Okay I the typical no kernel source intalled on my Suse 9.0 system. I have downloaded the proper source RPM for my kernel. Everytime I try to install the RPM it goes to 100% but I never get a linux dir under /usr/src and of course when I try and install the drivers it fails. I have tried rpm -ivh *.* and rpm -Uvh *.*. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Well by some form of luck I got the darn driver working (man I almost cried teras of joy when I saw the Nivdia logo). I still do not have a linux for under /usr/src but I did a search for linux and found a folder inder /usr/include. Could this be right?
I did a ln -s to /usr/include/linux and got the darn thing working somehow. Well I would still like to hear anyones thoughts on this so maybe now I can figure out what i may have done right if I have to go through this again. Thanks! ![]() |
