Default what can I do?

When I was installing "NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2960.rh72up.i686.rpm" I gat a message:
1. kernel unpacking of archive failed on file /lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/video/NVdriver;3d928b51:cpio:read
What does it mean? And what can I do with it?
