Does this mean that AGP x8 works in amd64 now?
Is that only on nforce3 cards or also on via kt800?
Post your /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status.
post your dmesg..
Wow I'm getting exitted...
I want a 3400+....

Well, AGP 8x works perfectly on AMD's 8151, but it should also work on VIA chipsets using the amd64.org patch.

yes it works on the VIA chipset also! It just about doubled my framerate.

How many fps Glxgears 24 bit DefaultColorDepth default size?
I'm looking to upgrade in the spring and I cant justify it without a notable performance increase.
My current system k7 3000+ Asus A7N8X x2 256Mb kingston HyperX pc3200 Geforce FX5900.

Do you have any problems using FX5700 Ultra on AMD64? I was told that the 4499 drivers did not support it or the 5900/5950 boards.

Yea the 5700U would work but it continually froze X, so I went back to a 5600U and it runs great. With the 2.6.1_XXX-gentoo sources AGPGART works and it about doubled my framerate. I have a 5900U that I can't wait for nvidia to realease drivers for - I really want it in the AMD64!!!
