Default SuSE Linux newb- need help w/kernel inculde

ihave tried running installer, figured out how to leave x. but it says i compiled from wrong header files. how do i specify what kernel source to compile from? i did install kernel-source package.

Edit: I have now succesfully installed the driver but sax configuration fails, saying i should do what i am doing, typing "SAX2 -M 0=NVIDIA" i cant send log as i can not use GUI anymore and i am not famliar w/console.

I tried startx and i was given the folowing error

Fatal server error:
no screens found

and the folowing

(EE) No devicies detected

any help would be great.
i am using a NVIDIA Riva card

Default is the module loaded ?

as root try
if nvidia is not listed try
insmod nvidia

before startx
