Hey malfunction,

what are your ingame settings?? All max out (except the texture filtering which also set back to medium no matter what you specify)??

I'm just curious. Your FX5200 seems to be running better than my FX5900. I get ard 65 to 85fps if I lower all settings to medium with AA/AF off. The only difference between our system spec is that you have 512MB more ram and have a oc 3.6Ghz cpu.

I'm sorry, but when it comes to Bit Drizzle/Share-Nada, etc., I have a strict Ted Nugent-esque policy - I can't SHARE it ... unless I GET it! And, at 4k a second ... I'm not getting it!

Only what you have been told or read here in the forum. These ATi is *Teh Shiz-nit and Nvidia is gonna crawl in DX9 party members confuse so many. Obiviously, a good recommendation would be to add these misinformed persons to your ignore list so as you aren't to be confused or force fed major helpings of **** whenever you inquire about a Nvidia product.

And Yes... 3DMark is a great indicator of DX9 performance.

Glad that unture opinion can finally be put to rest.

As with the FarCry demo,

Anybody notice the strangeness with the AI? I mean, they are smart sometimes, then other times.. complete idiots. Sometimes they just stand there and do nothing at all, while other times they hide for cover, etc. Kind of inconsistant.

Well, thats just typical. Guess we ATI owners just have to wait for Cat 4.2.

Nothing new though. We are kinda used to that by now. Most new games need some "fixing" these days to play along with ATI cards.

Here, I took some screenshots of the rocks with 4xAA/8xAF. Looks fine to me. Real-ly nice looking rocks aren't they?

I tested the game with aa&af on a 9800xt at work, with the catalyst 4.1. and yes, the rocks were all weird looking, like black triangles.. lol
