Hello,
I recently bought a FX5200 however I cannot get AGP to work correctly with it on my Asus A7V8X-MX (via KM400) motherboard. When I set NvAGP=1 I get this error (WW) NVIDIA(0): Failed to verify AGP usage and the drivers defaults to no AGP. When I set NvAGP=3 I usually get a blank screen or a screen a random ascii characters. I have tried this on both kernel 2.4.24 and 2.6.0. I compile AGPGART as modules. I tried modprobing different options like NVreg_EnableAGPSBA=1 (which I saw in a link for the KT400 chipset) but nothing works! Has anyone been able to get AGP working correctly with this hardware combination? Thanks Ryan |

The driver patches from Zander (www.minion.de) may be usable for you. Consider trying these driver patches on your 2.4 kernel as well as 2.6.
