Default UT2004 demo "soon"

Or within two weeks, as Mark Rein said yesterday.
Anyone here that followed the chat with Epic yesterday@ #3dgpu? Pretty cool, but a little chaotic from time to time. I felt sorry for "NV-Carrie", she must have felt a little..misplaced.

I think this game will be fun, although adding vehicles in UT at first seemed a little weird.

Check out the trailer. (Old, but still good)

Private chat with Carrie ey?

Yeah, these chat sessions are often totally wild, but i think the Epic dudes kept cool during most of it.

Not much new info though. The most talked about is that there won't be an Instagib mutator in the demo. (Thank good )

You can get a taste of what vehicles will do for UT.

Check out Unreal XMP. It's a hoot.

Hheeheh No. I was one of the moderators of the chat. There was private room for all of us (NV/ATI/Epic Employees/Mods) to go over who answers what questions and stuff like that. This chat was much less formal and she was able to help out much there (but not in the public chat which was more geared toward UT2k4 stuf).

Carrie Cowan is a great and well mannered lady as well as one of the very few people at nVidia who I won't curse out, she also is about the only one who ever returns my e-mails anymore. (Usually saying how she's not supposed to communicate with me, but it's still nice of her to reply. )

Carrie Cowan is pretty good people, she's definately one of the better people in nVidia's PR dept.

EDITED BITS: "Class act", that was the term I was looking for and couldn't remember. Carrie always struck me as a class act.
