Default Driver 5336 and 2D graphics

Hello,

First of all I want to say that I got this driver to work without any trouble: Thanks.

The problem I am having with it though is that it at least seems realy slow on "normal" 2D graphics. I saw some similar posts in the section where the driver was announced, but no further replies to it. Is somebody else experiencing the same and does anybody has a solution for it?

I'm using a Geforce FX 5200 on a Asus A7N8X and XFree 4.3.0-2.90.43.

Thanks,
Rudi.

It surely feels the same.
What did help for me was not using any AGP (Option "NvAgp" "0").
Although I hardly believe this to be the ultimate solution, it does seem to speed things up a bit.
