Default AMD64 / SuSE 9.0 / Segfault on X server start up

Hi,

on start up the X server segfaults and on the console there's an error "invalid operand: 0000 [1]". Has anyone seen this?

The machine in question has 16 GB of RAM. After passing mem=1GB the problem went away. We can go all the way to 4GB, and the problem doesn't show up. After 4GB it happens again. Sounds like the driver isn't really 64-bit clean.
