Default Extreme newbie question: Mandrake 9.2

I have Mandrake 9.2 installed on a P4 system with an nVidia GeForce FX 5600. My question is, does Mandrake 9.2 come with nVidia drivers already installed? And if so, how can I tell? And if not, how in the heck do I install them?

glxinfo will tell you of your current OpenGL capabilities. lsmod tells you if the nvidia kernel module is loaded/used. Look at /etc/X11/XF86Config to see if it's using nvidia drivers, also /var/log/XFree86.0.log. The best performance comes from downloading the drivers and following nVidia's instructions.
