kernel 2.6.2 driver 5336 lockups
I have been using the nv driver for some time now and recently wanted to try the accelerated nvidia driver. The driver works for a very short time and then locks up my entire system. I cannot even ssh in from another box.
I can reproduce the problem everytime simply by going into my Gnome Xscreensaver preferences and testing a few screensavers. A few will work fine but after the 5-6th one, the machine will lock up when I try to esc from the screensaver to get back to the desktop.
I see no errors in my /var/log/message

Place the following
Option "NvAGP" "1"
in the device section.
Option "NvAGP" "1"
Option "NoLogo" "True"
Option "hw_cursor" "True"
This will use the Nvidia's AGP core. It will work as long as you have AGP as a module.
