Is there a way to make nvidia-settings remember applyed setting for later logins?

i have to run it every time i boot my computer.

If I understand you, your system is not loading the nvidia kernel module at boot. Put it in /etc/modules (for kernel 2.4).

No he doesnot mean that, he mean the nvidia-settings nvidia panel dont save it's settings ofter a boot ot logout. The only way I know is putting them in the .profile but that invaildates the nvidia settings panel.

You would have to launch nvidia-settings from within your .xinitrc file. The .xinitrc file then needs to look something like this:
nvidia-settings (options)
/etc/X11/Xsession
