I am currently running Slackware 9.1 on the 2.6.1 kernel. I just installed the latest nVidia driver for my GeForce FX 5200 and am able to receive my preferred resolution of 1024x768 except it is at 60Hz refresh rate. If I increase that refresh rate to my preferred of 75Hz, I am limited to 800x600 resolution. I know my monitor is capable of more than that. Below is my XF86Config file.
Also, I have a scrollwheel on my Logitech Dual MouseMan Optical that I would like to use. How can I activate it? Heres my XF86Config: http://www.smarterjournal.com/files/XF86Config Thank in Advance!

for changing the refresh rate i do not have a solution
for the wheel look in file /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 for the line containing "ZAxisMapping" and uncomment it (delete # in front of it) good luck |
