NEW Doom 3 Beta Leak? WTF

Cant they just wait for the final release, this is annoying, but apparently its now just a rumor, 620MB they recan it is anyways, any thoughts?

Hmm, interesting. Why does it seem like all the major games that were supposed to be out last year but now will be out this year have had major leaks (Doom 3, Half-life 2, STALKER, Farcry, etc.). And now, we're getting UPDATED VERSIONS OF THOSE LEAKS! Anyway, it sounds interesting, I might pick it up at my next LAN if someone has it. I have a friend who's a major Doom 3 freak, if I let him try this "uber-leak" on my computer it might convince him to upgrade his machine (he only has a 450 with a Voodoo 3 right now

)

its not just games that are leaking these days, its also other things..

tho this is just a guess, im just thinkin along the lines of if the dev's are runnin behind time, they let it out and use it as a excuse to delay the project a little more..

Jollemi at EB said it was just a customized version of the first Alpha leak by some french group or somethig along those lines. Nothing to get excited about.

Im actually seeing doom3 advertising everywhere(in actuall stores, not only on the net)...Its kinda weird that it seems likley this time around the game is actually going to be released.

Yeah well, its getting annoying waiting for this game after 4 years! I'm leaching this as soon as I find it. If Id had released a demo by now (which they are perfectly able to do) nobody would care about leaks like this.

Yes, they showed it at E3, let ppl play the MP at quakecon, have got shops to sell pre-release figurines, and put up display boxes, bought websites, just so they can string everyone along for a few years with nothing at the end of it.
