Howdy,
I have 2 cards in my machine: AGP TNT2 M64, 32 Mb card PCI GeForce2 MX400 64 Mb card I'm running Gentoo with kernel 2.6.1 and nvidia driver 1.5366. I can get either card to work fine on its own, but not both together in a dual headed set up. Does anyone have any experience, advice, etc. with 2 nvidia cards in a dual head configuratiuon? Thanks. |

Howdy,
Thanks, nice links to bookmark, but I have actually already have a working config. Except that it would just freeze my box. I have changed both cards to use "nv" instead of "nvidia". In other words the XFree86 built-in module instead of the NVidia one, and all works fine, but obviously more sluggishly, so it looks like an issue with the nvidia drivers. Perhaps the version? |
