Default reseting a card

hi hi,
my queston as realated to my other thread on
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...threadid=25472

i have a posible selution:

are there any virebles that are stored on the grifical card that are not effected by the oprating system?

and if there is such a thing what can it do and is it posible to set it back to the company settings?

It is more useful to keep these ideas together in that thread.

I've commented on your problem, but do not know about your current idea. The card bios of course maintains certain information but most of them can't be flashed by the end-user, afaik. You could check your card manufacturer's website for info on that, nVidia wouldn't supply the bios for your specific card.
