Cool, the multiplayer actually sounds pretty fun. Interestingly I just picked up Splinter Cell the other day for $12. Enjoying it so far, though it's certainly a "stealth-heavy" game.

Splinter Cell is awesome if you get used to the stealthy feel of it. It gets to be fun to sneak up on people and ambush them after a while.

Can't wait to play the sequel.

BTW, I thought the gfx were great in Splinter Cell. Especially the shadow fx.

It should run well on that laptop w/o AA I would think.

It ran great on my 733 mhz CPU with a GF3 and 64 megs of ram. Oh wait...I was playing it on the Xbox

But I did play the PC version for a while on my 1.4 ghz with a GF3, and it ran fine for me (though AA caused quite a few graphic anomalies). What kind of computer did you run it on that it was actually choppy?

Oh, it was a Duron 1.3 w/GF 4 ti 4200 stock w/256 MB ram....ok at 800x600...around 25-30 fps....1024x768 was bad though.
